Description
Macallan Rare Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Speyside, Scotland, bottled at 43% ABV. It is matured in a selection of sherry-seasoned oak casks, which give it a deep mahogany color and a rich, complex character. Expect dried fruits with vanilla, chocolate and subtle oak, and a warm sherry spice that lingers on a smooth finish. It is best sipped neat, with a splash of water if you like, or over a single large ice cube. You can get Macallan Rare Cask from CBC Liquors in Westford in store, or by pickup, delivery or shipping.
Customer reviews
Hoped for something bolder from Macallan at this price, but still enjoyed sipping it slow by the fire. Rich but mellower than I figured.
Didn't expect the bottle to disappear in just two nights, but it was too easy to pour another glass. Dangerous in the best way.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Sounds like it kept good company. If you liked how smooth that one went, have a look at GlenDronach 18 next time. - Tom
Pulled out the Macallan Rare Cask for Thanksgiving with my uncle. Everybody went back for seconds. Made after dinner feel special.
