Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey

Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey, born in the heart of Dublin, is a testament to the traditional craftsmanship of Irish distilling. Bottled at 40% ABV, this whiskey presents itself with a delightful balance that promises both depth and approachability. The initial nose reveals inviting notes of creamy vanilla and golden honey, reminiscent of the rich pastures of Ireland where its grains are sourced. Subtle undertones of toasted wood provide a comforting, earthy backdrop, completing a profile that is both familiar and enticingly novel. When it comes to serving this Irish whiskey, neat is where the subtleties truly shine. The warmth of the glass gently releases its aromatic bouquet, allowing the vanilla and honey notes to unfurl with elegance. For those who prefer a slight chill, serving on the rocks introduces a crisp dimension, slightly tempering the sweetness and accentuating the toastiness of the oak. A splash of water can further open up the aromatic elements, perfect for those who wish to explore its layers with a delicate touch. Proper Twelve's versatile nature makes it an excellent base for classic cocktails. It serves as a robust foundation for a Whiskey Sour, where its honeyed notes harmonize beautifully with the citrus and sweetness. An Old Fashioned crafted with Proper Twelve showcases its inherent balance, while a well-mixed Highball brings out its refreshing qualities, making it a delightful option for those who enjoy a spirited, yet smooth, experience. For the whiskey purist, a Glencairn glass is ideal for nosing and savoring the full spectrum of aromas. For a more casual sip, a simple rocks glass will suffice, inviting a relaxed enjoyment of this Dublin-born spirit. Whether enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or as the heart of a classic cocktail, Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey offers a genuine taste of Ireland's rich distilling heritage.
