Macallan 110 Proof 12 Year Sherry

The 110 Proof 12 Year Sherry by Macallan is a quintessential single malt Scotch that exemplifies the rich tradition of Speyside craftsmanship. This distinguished whiskey is crafted with care and precision, boasting an assertive 110 proof that sets the stage for a bold tasting experience. The unique sherry cask maturation imparts a deep and complex profile, where the interplay of dried fruits and spice takes center stage. Upon nosing, expect a gentle embrace of sherry sweetness intertwined with whispers of oak and a subtle touch of vanilla. When savored neat, this whiskey reveals its true character, allowing the full spectrum of its intricate flavors to unfold. For those who prefer a slightly mellower experience, serving it on the rocks can temper the intensity, bringing a soothing balance while subtly enhancing the spicy undertones. A splash of water can further open up the aromatic qualities, drawing out hidden layers of fruit and wood. While this Scotch shines brilliantly on its own, it also elevates classic cocktails like the Old Fashioned or Manhattan, where its robust profile complements the bitters and vermouth, creating a sophisticated blend that lingers on the palate. A Glencairn glass is ideal for this whiskey, as its tulip shape captures the nuanced aromas perfectly, enhancing the nosing experience. Whether you are a seasoned whiskey enthusiast or a curious newcomer, the 110 Proof 12 Year Sherry invites exploration and appreciation with every pour.
