Decoy wine is on the shelf at CBC Liquors, 142 Littleton Rd in Westford, and you can see everything we carry from the maker on our Decoy brand page. The range includes Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and a Sonoma County red, and you can pick up in store or ask about delivery.
Which Decoy wines does CBC Liquors carry?
Our Decoy lineup covers both reds and whites. On the white side there is Decoy Sonoma Chardonnay and Decoy Sonoma Sauvignon Blanc.
On the red side you will find Decoy Pinot Noir, Decoy Cabernet Sauvignon and Decoy Sonona County Red. We also list Decoy Limited Cabernet Sauvignon, which is the one to look at if you want something a step beyond the standard bottle.
Stock moves, so the brand page is the quickest way to see what is on the shelf today before you drive over.
Where is Decoy wine made?
Decoy is a Sonoma County, California label, and several of the names on our shelf say so directly. Sonoma County sits north of San Francisco and is known for a mix of cool coastal-influenced areas and warmer inland valleys, which is why it can produce both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as well as bolder reds.
That range is part of why one brand can cover so many grapes. If you like California wine in general, our California Cabs collection is a good place to compare Decoy with other bottles in the same style.

Is there a rare or limited Decoy bottle?
If you are hunting for something less common, start with the Limited Cabernet Sauvignon. A bottle marked limited is typically produced in smaller quantities or selected from particular lots, so it tends to be harder to find than the core wines.
We do not hold unlimited quantities of anything, and a limited bottle can run out. Check the product page for what is in stock now. If you want to ask about an allocated or hard-to-find bottle, our allocated items page is the place to start, and you can always call or stop in.
What does each Decoy wine taste like and what goes with it?
Chardonnay from Sonoma is usually medium to full in body, with orchard fruit and sometimes a touch of oak. It suits roast chicken, creamy pasta and seafood. Sauvignon Blanc is lighter and crisper, with citrus and herbal notes, and works with salads, goat cheese and shellfish.
Pinot Noir is a lighter red with red-berry fruit and softer tannins, a good match for salmon, mushrooms and roast poultry. Cabernet Sauvignon is fuller, with dark fruit and firmer tannins, and pairs with steak, burgers and aged cheese.
A blended Sonoma County red is generally easy to drink and flexible at the table, which makes it a handy bottle for a weeknight dinner or a casual gathering.
How should you serve Decoy wine?
Serve whites and sparkling styles chilled, around 45 to 50 degrees, and take Chardonnay out of the fridge a few minutes before pouring so the flavors open up. Reds are best slightly cool, roughly 60 to 65 degrees, so a short stay in the fridge helps if your kitchen is warm.
For a young, bold Cabernet, opening the bottle 30 minutes or so ahead, or pouring it into a decanter, can soften it. Once opened, recork and refrigerate whites and reds alike, and plan to finish them within a few days.
