Description
Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series is a Kentucky bourbon finished with select wood staves for extra layers of flavor. The staves add richer vanilla and spice to the classic bourbon base of grain and charred oak, and each release in the series has its own character. Expect a warm, balanced sweetness with a little smokiness. Many bourbon drinkers pour it neat in a Glencairn glass, with a splash of water if they want to open up the aroma. You can get Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series from CBC Liquors in Westford in store, for pickup or by delivery.
Customer reviews
Honestly just a treat every time I open a bottle of this. Classic Makers amped up.
Poured this at our poker night and it stood out from the regular stuff. Deeper and a little heavier than standard Maker's, but some thought it was too bold for sipping straight. Still, most of us went back for seconds.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Good call for poker night. If you want something with a bit more sweetness next time, try Maker's 46.
