Argyle Willamette Valley Pinot Noir

Argyle's Willamette Valley Pinot Noir captures the essence of Oregon's renowned terroir, offering a memorable tasting experience that defines the region's celebrated style. With an ABV of 13.5%, this wine reveals a harmony of ripe red fruit flavors, expected to lean towards bright cherry and raspberry, coupled with the complexity typical of a well-crafted Pinot Noir. Its medium body is accentuated by supple tannins and a lively acidity, making it both approachable now and capable of aging gracefully over a few more years. The nuanced profile of this Pinot Noir suggests subtle hints of oak, adding layers of depth to its already vibrant character. A gentle decanting of about 30 minutes will allow you to fully appreciate its aromatic intricacies and soften its structure even further. Serve it slightly chilled, ideally between 55°F to 60°F, in a wide-bowled Burgundy glass to enhance its aromatic expression. When it comes to pairing, this Pinot Noir is versatile enough to complement a diverse array of dishes. Its vibrant fruit and balanced acidity make it an excellent companion to roasted poultry, particularly duck or turkey, as well as grilled salmon. For vegetarian options, consider earthy dishes featuring mushrooms or a rich risotto. Whether you're exploring new pairings or savoring it on its own, Argyle's Willamette Valley Pinot Noir offers a delightful exploration into one of Oregon's finest wine offerings.
