Description
Fleur's California Pinot Noir is a testament to the nuanced expression of this celebrated grape, capturing the essence of its sun-drenched yet balanced origins. As a product of California's rich and varied terroirs, this wine offers a harmonious blend of complexity and approachability. Expect a delicate dance of red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, accented with subtle floral notes. The wine's body leans towards a medium profile, offering enough structure to be engaging without overwhelming the palate. Its tannins are finely grained, providing a smooth yet slightly gripping texture that melds seamlessly with its vibrant acidity, characteristic of the Pinot Noir varietal grown in cooler climates. Best served slightly below room temperature, between 55 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit, this Pinot Noir benefits from a brief exposure to air. Decanting is recommended for about 30 minutes to allow its intricate aromas and flavors to fully bloom. When it comes to glassware, a classic Burgundy glass will best capture its aromatic profile, allowing you to savor the full spectrum of its bouquet with every swirl. This wine shines when paired with dishes that mirror its elegant profile. Consider pairing it with roasted duck, grilled salmon, or a mushroom risotto to complement its earthy undertones. Its bright acidity also stands up beautifully to richer dishes, cutting through creamy textures with ease. While Fleur's Pinot Noir is delightful to enjoy now, its balanced composition suggests it will develop additional complexity with a few years of careful aging, promising even more depth for those with patience. Whether you're exploring the subtleties of California's terroir or simply seeking a refined red to enhance your meal, Fleur's Pinot Noir offers a genuine reflection of its origins, delivering a wine experience that both novices and connoisseurs can appreciate.

Brought as a dinner party gift, disappeared quick once people tried it. Light enough to go with pretty much everything we had.
-
Opened this on a chilly November evening and it really hit the spot. Easy drinking and not too heavy.

Bottle went fast over taco night with friends. Wouldnt call it a slow sipper but it did the trick. Could use a bit more punch for my taste.

Glad you enjoyed Fleur Pinot Noir with tacos. If you want something bolder, try the Meiomi next time.
