Description
Vitus by Weihenstephaner is a German Weizenbock, a 7.7% ABV wheat beer from Bavaria with banana and clove notes. Vitus beer is a strong wheat beer, full-bodied with fruity and spicy character, a velvety mouthfeel and lively carbonation over a gentle malt sweetness. Its bitterness is low at 17 IBU, so the flavors of the Weihenstephaner Vitus come through. Serve it at around 45 to 50°F in a Weizen glass, and try it with Bavarian food such as pretzels and Weisswurst. You can buy it from CBC Liquors in Westford, in store, for pickup or by delivery.
