Description
Eggenberg Heller Bock is a pale German-style bock beer from Salzkammergut, Austria, at 7.4% ABV. Heller means pale, and a bock is a strong, malty lager, so this one is full-bodied with a balanced malt character, gentle sweetness and notes of toasted grain, and a warming finish. Serve it slightly chilled, around 45-50°F, in a stein or tulip glass, with hearty dishes. You can buy it from CBC Liquors in Westford in store, for pickup or by delivery.
Customer reviews
Tried this Eggenberg Heller Bock with schnitzel and potato salad. Nice combo, beer held up well to the fried stuff but did feel a little heavy by the end. Good flavor, just wish it was a bit lighter for lunch.
