Description
Korbinian is a Doppelbock from Weihenstephaner, brewed in Bavaria, Germany, at 7.4% ABV. A Doppelbock is a strong, malty German lager, and Korbinian shows toasted grain, caramel and a little dark chocolate with a gentle bitterness. Serve it slightly chilled, around 45-50°F, in a tulip glass, and pair it with roasted meats or rich stews. CBC Liquors in Westford, MA sells Weihenstephaner Korbinian in store, for pickup or by delivery.
Customer reviews
First time having this out on the back deck with friends. Really hit the spot as the sun went down.
The four pack disappeared faster than I thought it would. Rich and malty, wish they sold it in bigger bottles.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Korbinian goes quick once it's open. You might like Spaten Optimator if you're looking for something similar.
Had Korbinian at our Oktoberfest party last weekend. Super smooth for a stronger beer, easy to sip while grilling brats. A little heavy after my third, but still solid.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Love hearing about your Oktoberfest! If you liked Korbinian, maybe try Ayinger Celebrator next time too. - Marie
