Bread Butter Sliced Chardonnay

Sliced Chardonnay by Bread & Butter is a lively expression of California's winemaking prowess. This Chardonnay is notable for its vibrant citrus notes, which weave through the palate with a refreshing clarity. With an ABV of 13.5%, it strikes a balance between brightness and depth, featuring a crisp, invigorating finish that makes it an appealing choice for both casual sipping and more formal gatherings. The wine’s profile leans towards the lighter side of body, making it an ideal companion for a range of dishes. Expect the typical fruity elegance characteristic of a quality Chardonnay, with a play of acidity that enhances its citrus zest. While oak influence is subtle, if present, it brings a delicate texture rather than overwhelming the palate, allowing the natural fruitiness of the wine to shine through. For serving, aim for a slightly chilled temperature, around 50-55°F (10-13°C), which will preserve its refreshing qualities while allowing its nuanced flavors to open up. While decanting is not necessary, pouring it into a wide Chardonnay glass will let the wine breathe and enhance its aromatic profile. Pair it with light fare such as grilled seafood, creamy pasta, or a fresh summer salad to complement its crisp and vivacious character. Sliced Chardonnay is crafted for enjoyment in the moment, yet its well-balanced structure suggests it could hold its own for a couple of years in the bottle. Whether you're sharing it over a meal or enjoying a glass on its own, this wine offers a delightful experience grounded in the sunny vineyards of California.
