Federalist Red Blend

Crafted in the vibrant vineyards of California, the Federalist Red Blend captures the spirit of American viticulture with a medley of red varietals. Anticipate a full-bodied wine with a robust 14.5% ABV that delivers a striking balance of dark fruit flavors and structured tannins. On the palate, expect layers of ripe blackberry and plum, interwoven with subtle hints of spice that provide depth and complexity. This blend's moderate acidity ensures a smooth, lasting finish that invites further exploration with every sip. To fully appreciate its rich character, consider serving the Federalist Red Blend at a slightly cooler than room temperature, ideally around 60 to 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Decanting this wine for about an hour before serving can enhance its aromatic profile, permitting the intricate flavors to unfurl gradually. A wide-bowled glass is recommended to allow the wine to breathe, heightening the tasting experience. When it comes to pairing, this red blend thrives alongside hearty dishes. Complement its boldness with grilled steaks, lamb chops, or a richly sauced pasta. For those who prefer a lighter fare, roasted vegetables or a selection of aged cheeses will also accentuate its versatile palate. While it is ready to drink now, the Federalist Red Blend possesses the structure that could benefit from careful cellaring, allowing its flavors to mellow and mature over the next few years.
