Hess Select Treo Red Blend

The SELECT TREO RED BLEND by HESS is a testament to the art of winemaking, bringing together a medley of varietals that flourish in California's diverse terroir. With an ABV of 14.5%, this full-bodied red offers a gratifying depth that reveals layers of dark fruit, subtle tannins, and a balanced acidity. Expect notes of ripe blackberry and plum to unfold on the palate, underscored by hints of spice and a whisper of oak from its aging process. For the optimal experience, serve this wine slightly below room temperature, around 60-65°F. A brief decanting can enhance its bouquet, allowing the intricate blend of aromas to awaken and mingle. The wine's structure and character are best showcased in a large-bowled red wine glass, providing ample room for the bouquet to develop. A versatile companion at the dining table, the SELECT TREO RED BLEND pairs beautifully with a range of dishes. Its rich fruit profile complements hearty fare such as grilled lamb, beef tenderloin, or a robust mushroom risotto. The wine's acidity also makes it a delightful match with tomato-based pasta dishes or a classic margherita pizza. While this blend is ready to delight now, it has the potential to evolve with a few years of cellar time, allowing its components to integrate further. Whether you're exploring the world of red blends or seeking a reliable choice for a dinner gathering, this wine promises a rewarding sip.
