Sour beers like Love Child often feature a delightful tartness, complemented by subtle fruit notes and a crisp finish, making them a unique addition to any beer lover's collection. Enjoying Love Child is an experience best enhanced by serving it at the optimal temperature of around 45 to 50°F. This cooler temperature allows the beer's nuanced flavors to unfold, revealing layers of tart, fruity brightness that are characteristic of the sour beer category. For the best tasting experience, pour Love Child into a tulip glass. The shape of this glass not only showcases the beer’s effervescent carbonation but also concentrates its aromatic bouquet, allowing you to fully appreciate the complexity of this artisanal brew. When it comes to food pairings, Love Child shines alongside vibrant dishes that can stand up to its lively acidity. Consider serving it with rich, creamy cheeses like goat cheese or brie, which provide a delightful contrast to the beer's tartness. Additionally, its fruity undertones make it a perfect companion for dishes featuring roasted chicken or grilled seafood. The subtlety of these foods allows the beer's flavors to remain the star of the show without overwhelming the palate. Boulevard Brewing Company's commitment to crafting beers with traditional and innovative brewing techniques is evident in every sip of Love Child. Its distinct character and versatile pairing possibilities make it a must-try for those looking to explore the depths of sour beer offerings from one of the Midwest's most renowned brewers.
