Description
La Ferla Nero d'Avola is a Sicilian red wine from Canicatti, made from Sicily's best-known red grape and bottled at 13.5% ABV. It shows juicy cherry and plum fruit with a little earthy spice, a medium body, balanced acidity and moderate tannins, which give it a smooth, velvety feel. Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 60 to 65°F. It goes well with pasta alla Norma, caponata, grilled lamb chops, beef ragù and aged Pecorino.
