Description
Corte Fiore Appassimento is an Italian red wine from Puglia, made from Montepulciano grapes in the appassimento style and bottled at 14.0% ABV. Appassimento means the grapes are partly dried before fermenting, which gives a rich, concentrated red. It is full-bodied, with ripe black cherry and plum, dried herbs, a little spice and a touch of vanilla from oak. Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 60-65°F.
