Kings Ridge Chardonnay

Kings Ridge Chardonnay invites you to explore the vibrant terroir of Oregon through its expressive, well-balanced profile. This charming white wine is a classic representation of the Chardonnay grape, offering a delightful interplay of bright acidity and layered fruit flavors. Expect aromas of ripe apple and pear to greet you on the nose, with subtle hints of citrus zest adding a refreshing lift. The nuanced oak integration lends an elegant touch of vanilla and a whisper of toasted almond, enhancing the wine's complexity without overpowering its fruit-driven essence. On the palate, Kings Ridge Chardonnay unfolds gracefully, showcasing a medium body that carries its balanced acidity with poise. The texture is smooth, complementing the crispness and leading to a clean and gratifying finish. With an ABV of 13.5%, this wine maintains a harmonious equilibrium, making it an approachable yet sophisticated choice for both casual and refined settings. To fully appreciate its character, serve this Chardonnay slightly chilled at around 50°F. While it can be enjoyed straight from the bottle, allowing it to breathe in the glass for a few moments will enhance its aromatic profile. A standard white wine glass will capture its delicate aromas and vibrant flavors beautifully. Ideal for pairing with a range of dishes, this versatile wine shines alongside grilled seafood, creamy pasta, or a simple roasted chicken. Its bright acidity and subtle oak notes make it an excellent companion to cheese platters, particularly those featuring soft, creamy varieties. Kings Ridge Chardonnay is ready to be enjoyed now, offering a delightful snapshot of Oregon's wine-making prowess, but its balanced structure also suggests it could develop additional layers with a year or two of cellaring.
