Top Box Cabernet Sauvignon

Top Box Cabernet Sauvignon is a California red wine at 13.5% ABV, a pick for anyone looking at wine boxes who wants a Cabernet Sauvignon from Top Box. Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red grape variety, usually associated with dark fruit such as blackberry and dark cherry, firm tannins and a touch of oak. The maker describes this bottling as fruit-forward and robust, with blackcurrant undertones, balanced acidity and soft vanilla and spice from oak. Red wines of this style are generally served a little below room temperature, around 60 to 65°F, and many drinkers decant them for about 30 minutes first. A larger, wide-bowled glass such as a Bordeaux glass helps gather the aromas. Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic match for hearty dishes like grilled red meat and aged cheeses. CBC Liquors in Westford carries it; you can come into the store, or order it for pickup or delivery.
