Hahn Cabernet Sauvignon

Hailing from the sun-drenched vineyards of California, HAHN's Cabernet Sauvignon is a testament to the rich, full-bodied character that this varietal is renowned for. With an ABV of 14.5%, this wine presents a bold yet harmonious profile that captivates from the first sip. Expect a symphony of dark fruit flavors, where ripe blackberries and plums gracefully intertwine with hints of cassis, creating an inviting depth. Subtle undertones of oak introduce a delicate complexity, rounding off the wine's character with elegance and finesse. The structure of this Cabernet Sauvignon is marked by its firm tannins and well-integrated acidity, offering a robust backbone that supports its layered flavors. The finish is smooth and enduring, leaving a lingering impression of both fruit and spice. This makes it an excellent pairing partner for hearty dishes like grilled ribeye steak or a savory lamb stew, where the wine's assertive presence complements rich flavors. It also finds harmony alongside mature cheeses and dark chocolate desserts, enhancing their inherent richness. For optimal enjoyment, serve this wine at a temperature of around 60-65°F, where its aromas and flavors can fully express themselves. Decanting for about 30 minutes prior to serving will allow the wine to breathe, further enhancing its complex profile. Choose a large Bordeaux glass to savor the full bouquet and depth of this Cabernet Sauvignon, as the wide bowl helps emphasize its aromatic potential. While this wine is ready to be enjoyed now, it also possesses the structure for further aging. Given a few years in the cellar, its flavors will continue to evolve, offering even more nuanced complexity over time. Whether opened today or tucked away for future enjoyment, HAHN's Cabernet Sauvignon promises a genuine experience of California's winemaking prowess.
