Old Carter Batch 18 Bourbon 115 Proof

OLD CARTER's Batch 18 Bourbon 115 Proof is a noteworthy expression of classic Kentucky bourbon craftsmanship, boasting an assertive 57.5% ABV that promises an intense, full-bodied experience. From the first pour, this bourbon captivates with its deep amber hue and a nose rich with notes of caramel and toasted oak, underscored by a subtle hint of dried fruit. The complexity unfolds on the palate, where layers of vanilla and spice intertwine with charred oak, creating a symphony of flavors that is both robust and harmonious. This bourbon is particularly well-suited for those who appreciate a powerful yet balanced spirit. Serving it neat allows its intricate flavors to take center stage, while a splash of water can open up the bouquet, softening the high-proof edge and enhancing its aromatic profile. For those who prefer a chilled sip, serving it on the rocks provides a refreshing take without compromising its character. When it comes to cocktails, Batch 18's boldness makes it an excellent choice for a classic Old Fashioned, where its depth and richness can hold their own against the sweetness of sugar and the bitterness of bitters. It also shines in a Manhattan, where the interplay between the bourbon’s spice and the vermouth’s herbal notes creates a perfectly balanced drink. Whichever way you choose to enjoy it, be sure to use a rocks glass for a more substantial, tactile experience or a Glencairn glass if you're keen to explore its aromatic nuances. OLD CARTER's Batch 18 Bourbon 115 Proof is not just a drink, but a testament to the art of bourbon making, offering a rich tapestry of flavors that invites exploration with every sip. Whether it's savored slowly or mixed into a classic cocktail, this bourbon is designed for those who appreciate the finer details of a well-crafted whiskey.
