Hitachino Nest White

Hitachino Nest White Ale is a delightful creation from the Ibaraki region of Japan, offering a unique interpretation of a classic Belgian-style white beer. At a balanced 5.5% ABV and with an IBU of 13, this beer provides a refreshing experience that's both smooth and intriguing. The ale is crafted with a carefully selected blend of malted barley and wheat, which serves as the perfect canvas for its vibrant character. A hallmark of Hitachino Nest White Ale is its distinctive citrus aroma, which is immediately inviting and hints at the bright, crisp flavors to follow. This is complemented by subtle notes of coriander and nutmeg, which add depth and a slight spiciness, creating an aromatic profile that is both complex and refreshing. On the palate, you can expect a light body with a gentle effervescence, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate easy-drinking beers with a twist. For the best tasting experience, serve this white ale at a cool temperature of around 45°F (7°C) in a tulip glass. This glassware will allow the beer's aromas to fully develop, enhancing the drinking experience. When it comes to food pairings, Hitachino Nest White Ale is incredibly versatile. It pairs beautifully with light salads, seafood dishes, and spicy Asian cuisine, where its citrus notes can cut through richer flavors and complement the spices. Whether you're a longtime fan of wheat beers or new to the style, Hitachino Nest White Ale offers something special with its Japanese flair on a Belgian classic. Its easy-drinking nature and balanced flavors make it a standout choice for casual drinking or as an accompaniment to a meal.
