Description
Toki Whiskey from Suntory is a 43% ABV blended Japanese whisky from Honshu, Japan. It combines malt and grain whiskies from the Hakushu, Yamazaki and Chita distilleries, with Hakushu malt matured in American oak and Yamazaki malts aged in American and Spanish oak. The maker points to green apple, basil and honey on the nose, then orchard fruit, vanilla and oak ending in a clean, spicy finish. Serve it neat, with a splash of water or on the rocks. CBC Liquors in Westford, Massachusetts, offers it in store, for pickup, for delivery or by shipping.
Customer reviews
Shared this with my brother after sushi. Both liked it, just a touch lighter than I'm used to in Japanese whisky.
Spring evening, backyard fire pit and Toki on ice. Smooth sip but maybe a little light for winter. Will keep it around for the next warm night.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Love that for spring, Toki does shine when its warmer out. Next time you want something bolder, Yamazaki or Hibiki might fit better. - Marie
