Chattermark Straight Rye Whiskey

CHATTERMARK's Straight Rye Whiskey is a striking addition to the world of rye, hailing from the diverse landscapes of Tennessee. This whiskey is crafted with a focus on high rye content, resulting in a bold profile that captures the quintessential spicy edge rye enthusiasts relish. With an ABV of 45.0%, it balances strength and smoothness, offering a drinking experience that is as robust as it is refined. The tasting journey begins with a pronounced spiciness, typical of rye whiskies, which is complemented by undertones of toasted grain and whispers of oak. As you savor it, expect subtle nuances of vanilla mingling with a delicate sweetness, which rounds out the initial spice to create a harmonious finish. This complexity makes it an excellent candidate for enjoying neat, allowing its layers of flavor to unfold naturally, or with a splash of water to open up its aromatic profile further. For those who prefer their whiskey on the rocks, the addition of ice gently tempers the spiciness and brings out the whiskey's smoother characteristics. When considering cocktails, CHATTERMARK's Straight Rye is an ideal choice for a classic Old Fashioned or a spicy-sweet Manhattan, thanks to its bold flavors that stand up well against bitters and vermouth. The whiskey's confident profile also lends itself beautifully to a Whiskey Sour, adding depth and character to this beloved cocktail. For optimal enjoyment, serve this rye whiskey in a Glencairn glass to fully appreciate its aroma, or in a rocks glass when sipping over ice. Whether you're exploring the depths of its neat profile or crafting a timeless cocktail, CHATTERMARK's Straight Rye Whiskey offers a robust yet inviting experience for both newcomers and seasoned rye aficionados alike.
