Description
Quincy Domaine by ADELE ROUGE is a quintessential expression of Loire Valley craftsmanship, celebrated for its vibrant and refreshing profile. This distinguished French white wine reflects the region's storied terroir, presenting a harmonious balance between bright acidity and subtle fruit notes. At first sip, anticipate an invigorating burst of citrus, likely interwoven with hints of green apple and soft pear, all enlivened by a crisp, mineral finish that cleanses the palate. Wine enthusiasts will find that Quincy Domaine is best enjoyed when served slightly chilled, around 9-11°C (48-52°F), to highlight its refreshing qualities and nuanced flavors. While decanting is not necessary, allowing the wine a few moments to breathe in the glass can enhance its aromatic complexity. For an optimal tasting experience, a standard white wine glass will beautifully direct the delicate aromas to the nose. This wine's vibrant acidity and fruit-forward character make it a versatile companion to a variety of dishes. It pairs exceptionally well with seafood, such as grilled shrimp or scallops, and complements poultry dishes with light, herbal sauces. Additionally, its mineral undertones provide a lovely contrast to creamy cheeses, like brie or camembert, making it a delightful choice for an appetizer platter or a casual evening of wine and cheese. Quincy Domaine is crafted to be enjoyed upon release, offering immediate gratification with its lively and refreshing taste. However, its structured acidity and balanced profile suggest it could also benefit from short-term cellaring, developing subtle complexities over a few years. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or discovering French whites for the first time, this wine promises an authentic taste of the Loire Valley's winemaking heritage.
Customer reviews
Grabbed Quincy Domaine for mom and she loved it way more than me. Liked it enough but probably not my go-to white.
The bottle didn't last past our Tuesday dinner. Good with roast chicken but a little sharp for sipping alone.
Honestly just what I wanted with grilled swordfish. Super crisp, nothing heavy. Happy surprise from Adele Rouge.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Glad it hit the spot with your swordfish. Next time you grill, try the Muscadet for another Loire option.
