CHEMISTRY Pinot Gris is a 13.5% ABV white wine from Oregon, crisp and fruity with pear, apple and citrus zest. Pinot Gris is the French name for the grape Italians call Pinot Grigio, and this one balances natural acidity with ripe tropical and orchard fruit for a clean, lingering finish. Serve it slightly chilled, around 45 to 50°F, on its own or with grilled salmon, seared scallops, a garden salad or a goat cheese tart. Dinner with fish tacos and this Oregon Pinot Gris. Super crisp, works with spicy toppings but a little sharp for me on its own.
