Description
Schneider Weisse Original Hefeweizen is a 5.4% ABV Bavarian wheat beer from Schneider Weisse, an easy-drinking style with an IBU of 14. It pours a cloudy amber-gold with a frothy head, and the yeast brings banana and clove aromas with a little citrus. The body is smooth and slightly creamy, with the gentle sweetness of wheat balanced by clove spice and a clean, crisp finish. Hefeweizen is traditionally served chilled in a tall Weizen glass, and it suits Bavarian-style food. You can buy it from CBC Liquors in Westford in store, for pickup or for delivery. Customer reviews
First one out on the deck this season, hit just right with leftover grilled bratwurst. Would get again.
not as heavy as I thought for a wheat beer, still has that big Bavarian feel though. Tastes better colder to me. Might keep some in the fridge for summer.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Colder works great for Schneider Weisse, especially once it gets warmer out. Let us know if you want ideas for other Bavarian brews.
