Jeffersons Ocean Aged At Sea Small

JEFFERSON'S Ocean Aged At Sea Small Batch is an exceptional bourbon that takes the distinctive flavors of Kentucky craftsmanship and infuses them with the spirit of the high seas. This bourbon's journey on a ship, traversing varying climates and absorbing the ocean’s influence, imparts a unique maritime character, crafting a flavor profile unlike any other. With an ABV of 45.0%, this bourbon carries a robust yet balanced presence, ideal for experienced enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike. Upon nosing, expect to encounter a harmonious blend of salted caramel mingled with subtle oak and a whisper of sea spray, hinting at its ocean-aged voyage. On the palate, this bourbon delivers a captivating mix of rich vanilla and a gentle spice, with waves of toasted grain and a lingering note of brine, adding layers of complexity. The finish is smooth, with a touch of smokiness that evokes the warm embrace of a seaside bonfire. For purists, serving JEFFERSON'S Ocean Aged neat in a Glencairn glass allows the full spectrum of its maritime essence to unfold. Conversely, a splash of water can open up additional depths of flavor, softening the spice and revealing more of its sweet undertones. If preferred on the rocks, a sturdy rocks glass captures the bourbon’s character while mellowing its edges just enough to suit a leisurely sip. When it comes to cocktails, this bourbon shines in classics like the Old Fashioned or the Manhattan, where its ocean-aged nuances add intriguing dimensions to the familiar. The Whiskey Sour also benefits from its complexity, offering a refined twist that complements the cocktail’s tangy sweetness. Whether enjoyed straight or mixed, JEFFERSON'S Ocean Aged delivers an unparalleled tasting experience, rooted in tradition yet adventurous in its execution.
