Tozai Night Swim

Embark on a sensory journey with Night Swim, an intriguing wine-sake hybrid brought to life by TOZAI. Crafted in the Maule Valley, Japan, this unique offering captures the essence of two iconic beverages, presenting a harmonious blend that is both captivating and complex. At 15% ABV, Night Swim is a bold yet graceful creation that invites wine and sake lovers alike to explore its depths. Expect a vibrant interplay of flavors with Night Swim. On the nose, anticipate the allure of rich red and black fruit notes, reminiscent of the classic Cabernet Sauvignon influence. The palate reveals layers of complexity, with high tannins providing structure and a lingering mouthfeel. Subtle hints of green peppers add an intriguing twist, a nod to its Cabernet roots, while nuances of vanilla, spice, and tobacco emerge as the wine-sake hybrid opens up, a testament to its time in American oak. Night Swim shines when served at a slightly cooler temperature, ideally around 60°F (15°C), which helps to highlight its intricate flavors. While decanting isn't necessary, allowing it to breathe for a short while can enhance its aromatic profile. A medium-sized wine glass with a slightly tapered top is ideal for capturing its essence, allowing you to fully appreciate the delightful bouquet and nuanced finish. Pair this exquisite beverage with hearty dishes that complement its robust character. Think grilled meats, rich tomato-based pastas, or savory mushroom risottos. The wine-sake fusion offers versatility, also pairing well with umami-rich Japanese cuisine, such as teriyaki salmon or beef tataki. Night Swim is ready to enjoy now, offering a unique experience that will captivate your palate and elevate your dining occasions.
