Description
Mc Chouffe is an 8% ABV Belgian-style strong ale from Brasserie d'Achouffe in Belgium. This beer pours a ruby colour with aroma of aniseed and liquorice, rounded by a hint of toffee, and a gentle bitterness at 20 IBU. Serve it at 45 to 50°F in a tulip glass. It pairs well with roasted lamb or beef and rich, creamy cheeses. CBC Liquors in Westford offers Mc Chouffe beer in store, for pickup, by delivery or by shipping.
Customer reviews
Surprised how smooth this went down for 8 percent. Not harsh at all, sipped slow after dinner.
Birthday present from my brother in law. Dark and different, almost malty like a Scotch ale but definitely more Belgian. Stuck with just one since it's strong.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Love when someone shares something unique like Mc Chouffe. If you ever want something with less kick, check out the La Chouffe Blonde next time.
