Description

Red Tripel from Brouwerij Rodenbach is a captivating interpretation of the classic Belgian style beer, known for its rich flavors and complex character. Brewed in the storied region of West Flanders, this beer boasts an impressive ABV of 8.2%, providing a robust yet smooth experience. The intrigue of Red Tripel lies in its harmonious balance of malt sweetness and subtle hop bitterness, showcased by its modest IBU of 8. Expect notes of caramel and dark fruit to emerge with each sip, accompanied by a gentle warmth that speaks to its well-crafted nature. To truly appreciate the full spectrum of Red Tripel's flavors, serve it at a temperature between 45-50°F. This range allows the beer's aromatic qualities to unfold, enhancing your tasting experience. A traditional tulip glass is the preferred vessel when indulging in this Belgian-style beer, as its shape helps concentrate the aromas and supports the beer's frothy head. When it comes to culinary pairings, Red Tripel shines alongside dishes that can match its depth without overpowering its subtle complexities. Consider serving it with a hearty beef stew or a rich, creamy cheese like Brie or Camembert. The beer's malty undertones and fruity notes also complement roasted poultry dishes, offering a delightful contrast to savory flavors. Whether savoring a meal or enjoying it on its own, Red Tripel stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of Belgian beer craftsmanship.

Better than most Belgian ales I've had that cost more. Decent value for how much you get in the bottle.

Buddy said I needed to try Red Tripel from Rodenbach. Interesting, lighter body than my usual quads but not bad. Not sure it's one I'd grab on my own though.

Hey, thanks for giving the Red Tripel a shot. If you want more body next time, maybe check out St Bernardus Abt 12 instead. - Tom

Belgian beers and a burger night, always solid. I usually lean dubbel but this tripel had just enough sweetness for me. Would buy again if I want something a bit bigger.
