Description
Massoreale Sangiovese by Cantina Tollo is an Italian red wine from Terre di Chieti in Abruzzo, with an ABV of 13.0%, available at CBC Liquors in Westford. It has ripe cherry and plum notes with dried herbs and a touch of spice, medium body, balanced acidity and soft tannins. Serve it slightly cool, around 16 to 18 degrees Celsius, and let it breathe for 20 to 30 minutes. It pairs with tomato-sauce pasta, grilled lamb, Margherita pizza, mushroom risotto and creamy polenta. You can buy it in store, for pickup or by delivery.
Customer reviews
Solid sangiovese for the price, not super bold but did the job.
Opened it at dinner, barely lasted through the meal. Way smoother than I thought for under ten bucks.
Out on the deck with pizza and this Massoreale Sangiovese. Easy to drink, maybe a little lighter than other Sangioveses but worked for a weeknight.
