Woodford Reserve Ma Choice Double Oaked

Woodford Reserve's MA Choice Double Oaked Bourbon is a testament to the art of double-barreling. This Kentucky bourbon is crafted with a deep respect for tradition, taking the classic Woodford profile and enhancing it with an innovative maturation process. Expect a full-bodied experience beginning with a rich tapestry of flavors that unfolds with every sip. The initial aroma of toasted oak leads to a palate of dark caramel, maple syrup, and a hint of dried fruit, complemented by a gentle wave of vanilla and spice. The double oaking process imparts a remarkable depth, with layers of sweet char and a smooth finish that lingers pleasantly. Served neat, MA Choice Double Oaked reveals the nuanced complexity of its double maturation, best appreciated in a Glencairn glass to fully explore the aromas. For those who enjoy a slight chill, a single large ice cube in a rocks glass will subtly mellow the bourbon without diluting its character. A splash of water can open the bouquet further, highlighting the interplay of toasted wood and sweet spices. This bourbon is a versatile choice for classic cocktails, where it adds depth and warmth to a Manhattan or an Old Fashioned. The rich, layered profile pairs wonderfully with the bitters and sweet vermouth of a Manhattan, while the hint of vanilla and caramel enhances an Old Fashioned, creating a rounded, satisfying drink. Woodford Reserve's MA Choice Double Oaked is more than just a bourbon; it's an exploration of flavor crafted meticulously over time. Whether sipped slowly or crafted into a cocktail, it delivers an authentic Kentucky experience, showcasing the tradition and innovation that define Woodford Reserve.
