Allagash Lager

Allagash Lager is a testament to the art of brewing simplicity, hailing from the heart of Maine. With an ABV of 5%, this beer offers a quintessential lager experience that prioritizes easy-drinking enjoyment without the complexity of hop bitterness, evident by its 0 IBU. This makes it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a clean, refreshing beverage that doesn't overwhelm the palate. Lagers like this typically highlight a subtle malt backbone, providing a gentle sweetness that is both satisfying and approachable. When it comes to serving, Allagash Lager shines when chilled to a crisp 38-45°F, allowing its delicate flavors to come forward. Pour it into a traditional pilsner glass, which accentuates the beer's effervescence and allows for a good head, inviting you to savor its aroma as you sip. This lager's smooth profile makes it a versatile companion for a range of dishes. Pair it with light fare such as grilled chicken, seafood, or a fresh garden salad. Its mild nature also complements spicy foods, offering a cooling contrast to heat. Allagash has established itself as a craft brewery known for innovation and quality, and this lager embodies their commitment to excellence. While their portfolio includes a diverse range of styles, from wild and sour brews to barrel-aged creations, the Allagash Lager stands out for its straightforward appeal. It's an ideal option for those moments when you seek refreshment and simplicity, whether you're unwinding after a long day or gathering with friends to enjoy a laid-back evening.
