Short Cross Gin

Hailing from the verdant landscapes of County Down, Northern Ireland, Shortcross Gin is a beautifully crafted spirit from the Rademon Estate Distillery. Celebrated for its juniper-forward profile, this gin artfully balances tradition with a contemporary twist, weaving in the aromatic whispers of citrus and the gentle sweetness of floral undertones. Locally sourced apple and elderflower botanicals add a distinct regional character, creating a depth that is both refreshing and intriguing. On the palate, Shortcross Gin greets you with a crisp clarity, where the assertiveness of juniper is harmoniously complemented by zesty citrus sparks and the delicate sweetness of elderflower. This nuanced bouquet makes it an ideal core ingredient for a variety of classic cocktails. When crafting a Gin & Tonic, the use of a balloon glass allows the botanicals to fully express their vibrant aromas. Add plenty of ice and garnish with a slice of apple or a sprig of fresh rosemary to accentuate its botanical richness. The depth of Shortcross Gin also lends itself elegantly to more robust concoctions such as a Negroni or Martini. Its high ABV of 46% ensures the gin holds its own against other strong flavors, creating a balanced and sophisticated drink. For a refreshing twist, try it in a Tom Collins, served in a highball glass over ice with a splash of soda water and a twist of lemon to enhance its citrus notes. Whether you're exploring new cocktail variations or savoring it neat to appreciate its complexities, Shortcross Gin offers a delightful experience grounded in the rich terroir of its Northern Irish origins. Each sip is a testament to the craftsmanship and careful selection of botanicals that define this exceptional spirit.
