Hendricks Orbium Gin

Hendrick's Orbium Gin offers an intriguing departure from traditional gin profiles, introducing a captivating blend of botanicals that redefine the spirit's character. Crafted in Girvan, Scotland, this gin ventures beyond the expected juniper-forward notes with the addition of quinine, wormwood, and blue lotus blossom. Each sip reveals a delicate balance where the bitterness of quinine interplays with the earthy tones of wormwood, while the floral hint from blue lotus blossom adds a surprising layer of complexity. At 43.4% ABV, Orbium delivers a robust yet harmonious experience that appeals to both seasoned gin enthusiasts and those seeking something distinctly different. Orbium Gin is particularly well-suited for classic cocktails that benefit from its unique botanical ensemble. Its nuanced bitterness elevates a Negroni, providing an extra depth that complements the sweet vermouth and Campari. In a Gin & Tonic, Orbium's quinine content naturally enhances the tonic's own flavor, making for a refreshingly bitter yet balanced drink. For those who appreciate a Martini with a twist, the inclusion of wormwood nods subtly to the elements of a classic vermouth, creating a complex but elegant cocktail when served extra-chilled with a lemon twist. When it comes to presentation, Orbium Gin is best served in a balloon glass filled with ample ice, allowing its intricate aromas to fully develop. Garnishing with a slice of cucumber or a sprig of fresh rosemary beautifully complements its botanical profile and adds a visually appealing touch. This gin not only shines in cocktails but also stands out when enjoyed neat, where its layered flavors can be savored fully. Whether experimenting with innovative concoctions or perfecting time-honored recipes, Hendrick's Orbium Gin offers a distinctive journey through a landscape of taste defined by its one-of-a-kind botanical blend.
