Charles Charles Double Trouble Red

Discover the enticing charm of Double Trouble Red, a captivating red blend crafted by CHARLES CHARLES in Washington. This wine is a dynamic expression of the region's unique terroir, delivering a harmonious balance of ripe fruit character and structured elegance. With an ABV of 13.5%, it combines the lushness of dark berries with a hint of spice, revealing layers that unfold into a smooth, lingering finish. Expect a medium to full-bodied profile, where the tannins are well-integrated, providing a gentle grip that complements its natural acidity. This combination makes it a versatile choice for a range of culinary delights. Consider pairing it with grilled lamb chops, hearty pasta dishes, or a selection of aged cheeses, where its robust flavors can be fully appreciated. For optimal enjoyment, serve Double Trouble Red slightly below room temperature, around 60-65°F (15-18°C). While decanting is not essential, allowing it to breathe for about 20 minutes can enhance its complexity and reveal subtler notes. A standard red wine glass will suffice, allowing the bouquet to open up and the flavors to concentrate as you savor each sip. While Double Trouble Red is delightful now, it also holds the potential for further development with short-term aging. Whether you choose to enjoy it immediately or let it mature, this red blend stands ready to impress with its well-rounded profile and enticing depth.
