Chandon California Brut

Effervescent and lively, Chandon's California Brut is a sparkling wine that captures the essence of the Golden State's winemaking. With an ABV of 13.0%, this wine offers an inviting crispness that perfectly complements its fine, persistent bubbles. The tantalizing freshness is expected to be accompanied by typical notes of green apple and pear, which are often found in sparkling wines of this style. These fruit-forward flavors are balanced by a subtle hint of citrus, offering a refreshing acidity that invigorates the palate. This sparkling wine is a versatile companion for a variety of culinary delights. Its vibrant character pairs beautifully with seafood dishes such as oysters or shrimp cocktail, as well as creamy cheeses like Brie. The crisp acidity also complements light salads or can even serve as a delightful contrast to spicy dishes. For the best experience, serve this sparkling wine well-chilled, ideally at a temperature between 46°F and 50°F, to maintain its refreshing quality. Chandon's California Brut is best enjoyed in a flute glass, which helps to concentrate its aromas and showcase the beauty of its bubbles. While decanting is not necessary for sparkling wines, allowing it a few minutes to breathe in the glass can enhance its aromatic nuances. This is a drink-now wine, perfect for immediate enjoyment, celebrating both everyday moments and special occasions with its undeniable charm.
