Cloisonne Cabernet Sauvignon

Cloisonne's Cabernet Sauvignon from California is a robust expression of this renowned varietal, offering a true testament to its regional roots. Expect a rich tapestry of ripe blackcurrant and dark cherry flavors, underlined by hints of cedar and subtle oak influences. This wine's full body is beautifully structured with firm yet approachable tannins, creating a balanced and dynamic mouthfeel. The acidity is well-integrated, providing a seamless transition to a lingering, elegant finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon shines when paired with hearty dishes such as grilled ribeye steak, lamb chops, or a rich mushroom risotto. Its tannic structure and fruit profile are well-suited to cut through the richness of these meals, enhancing the overall dining experience. Serve this wine slightly below room temperature, ideally between 60-65°F, to preserve its aromatic complexity and flavor clarity. While decanting is not essential, allowing it to breathe for about 30 minutes can further develop its layered profile. For the best tasting experience, pour this wine into a wide-bowled glass to encourage aeration and concentrate its intricate aromas. While delightful when enjoyed now, the wine's structured tannins and vibrant acidity suggest potential for aging, promising further depth and complexity over the next few years. Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or exploring the world of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cloisonne's offering is a prime example of California's winemaking prowess.
