This unique bourbon bridges the gap between the worlds of fine wine and classic whiskey, resulting in a flavor profile that is both intriguing and harmonious. The integration of Cabernet Sauvignon imparts a layer of complexity and depth, intertwining seamlessly with the bourbon's inherent smoky undertones. Expect an interplay of rich berry notes typical of Cabernet Sauvignon, blending with the warm caramel, vanilla, and oak nuances that are traditional to bourbons of this style. With an ABV of 14.5%, this bourbon can be savored neat to fully appreciate its nuanced character, or with a splash of water to mellow the alcohol and open up the bouquet of aromas. Alternatively, serving it on the rocks can subtly enhance its smoothness, allowing the more delicate flavors to emerge as the ice gently melts. For those looking to explore its versatility, Thomas Moore Cabernet Sauvignon Bourbon makes a compelling base for a Manhattan, where its rich fruit and spice notes complement the sweet vermouth, or in a classic Old Fashioned, accentuating its depth with a hint of bitters. For a true appreciation of its aroma, consider using a Glencairn glass, which is perfect for nosing and capturing the layered scents of this bourbon.
