Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad

Experience the rich depths of Boulevard’s Bourbon Barrel Quad, a masterful entry in the realm of Belgian-style beers. This Missouri-born brew captivates with its robust 12.2% ABV that balances strength and sophistication. Aged lovingly in bourbon barrels, this beer integrates the classic fruity esters typical of a Belgian Quadrupel with the warm, toasty notes imparted by Kentucky’s finest oak casks. Expect nuances of caramel and vanilla to dance gracefully with hints of dark fruit, creating a symphony of flavors that linger long after the final sip. Pour this opulent brew into a tulip glass to fully appreciate its complex aromas and rich, amber hue. The wide bowl and narrow rim of the tulip glass not only allow for an enhanced olfactory experience but also showcase the beer’s luscious body and inviting appearance. While Bourbon Barrel Quad can be savored neat for a pure expression of its barrel-aged character, you might also enjoy it at cellar temperature to emphasize its layered profile. This bold beer is versatile enough to complement a range of culinary delights. Pair it with hearty dishes like roasted meats or aged cheeses to match its intensity, or let it shine alongside a decadent chocolate dessert, where its sweet undertones will harmonize beautifully. If you decide to explore cocktail options, consider a beer-based twist on the classic Old Fashioned, where the Quad's inherent sweetness and bourbon-infused notes play perfectly with bitters and a citrus peel garnish. Crafted by Boulevard Brewing Company, known for its dedication to quality and innovation since 1989, the Bourbon Barrel Quad stands as a testament to the brewery’s commitment to pushing boundaries while honoring traditional brewing techniques. Whether you’re a beer aficionado or a newcomer to barrel-aged styles, this Belgian-inspired brew offers a unique tasting experience that captures the spirit of American craft brewing.
