Cardinal Barrel Proof

CARDINAL's Barrel Proof Bourbon is a compelling expression of Kentucky craftsmanship, offering aficionados a whiskey that is both bold and unfiltered. At an impressive 60% ABV, this bourbon delivers an intense and undiluted experience, reflecting the true character of its ingredients. Expect a robust profile where the warmth of oak meets the subtle sweetness of vanilla, underscored by hints of charred caramel and a whisper of spice. These elements combine to create a whiskey that stands out for its depth and complexity, making it a prized bottle for those who appreciate a full-bodied bourbon. When it comes to enjoying CARDINAL's Barrel Proof Bourbon, serving it neat allows you to fully appreciate its intricate layers of flavor. However, a few drops of water or a single ice cube can help to open up the whiskey, softening its high proof and revealing more nuanced notes of grain and spice. This makes it suitable for both seasoned bourbon drinkers and those exploring bolder options. The rich flavors of this bourbon also lend themselves beautifully to classic cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan, where its intensity can shine through the subtle sweetness and bitters. For an optimal tasting experience, consider using a Glencairn glass to capture and concentrate the bourbon's aromatic qualities, allowing each sip to deliver the full spectrum of its profile. Alternatively, a sturdy rocks glass provides the perfect vessel when serving it with ice or water. This whiskey's bold character can be complemented by hearty food pairings, such as smoked meats or robust cheeses, which can stand up to its assertive flavor. CARDINAL's Barrel Proof Bourbon is an invitation to savor a true Kentucky treasure, crafted for those who seek an unadulterated and memorable whiskey experience.
