Corte Anna Amarone della Valpolicella is a 15.5% ABV Italian red wine from Veneto, made from partially dried grapes. Amarone is a dry red made with the appassimento method, in which the grapes are dried before fermentation to concentrate their sugars and flavors. In the glass, expect dark cherries, ripe plums and hints of dried figs with a velvety texture. It can be sipped on its own as a digestif after a meal, or served with roasted meats, aged cheeses and mushroom risotto.
