Description
Agape Nerello Mascalese by Valdibella is a medium-bodied Italian red wine from Sicily, made from the native Nerello Mascalese grape, with an ABV of 13.0%. It shows red cherry and wild berry flavours with a subtle minerality from volcanic soils, firm but approachable tannins and fresh acidity. Serve it slightly below room temperature, around 60 to 65°F. It suits roasted lamb or pork, mushroom risotto and grilled eggplant. You can get it from CBC Liquors in Westford in store, by pickup, by delivery or by shipping.
Customer reviews
Pleasant surprise for under fifteen bucks. Had this with Sunday roast chicken and liked it better than some bottles twice the price.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Glad you enjoyed the Agape! If you like that style, try the COS Nero di Lupo next time too.
Different than most Sicilian reds Ive had. Little lighter than I was expecting but went well with grilled veggies. Not bad, just not as bold.
