High West A Midwinter Nights Dram Act 14 Scene 3

A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 14 Scene 3 by High West Distillery is a celebration of rye whiskey's rich tapestry, crafted with meticulous attention to detail in the heart of Utah. This limited edition release harmonizes a blend of straight rye whiskeys, artfully finished in French oak port barrels. At 49.3% ABV, this spirit invites enthusiasts to savor its multifaceted character, perfect for those who appreciate the finer nuances of whiskey during the colder months. The aroma of A Midwinter Night's Dram envelops you with holiday spices like cinnamon and clove, weaving through the nose alongside notes of dried fruits and a gentle oak presence. On the palate, it reveals itself with a lush complexity: caramel and dark chocolate emerge prominently, rounded by a touch of vanilla and the expected rye spice. The port barrel finish imparts a smooth, velvety texture and a lingering finish that leaves a warm, lasting impression. To experience the full depth of this whiskey's character, enjoy it neat in a Glencairn glass, which concentrates its aromatic profile, allowing each note to shine. If preferred slightly cooler, serve over a single large ice cube in a rocks glass to maintain its integrity while subtly enhancing its smoothness. While this whiskey is a delight on its own, its complexity also makes it a superb choice for classic cocktails. It brings a rich depth to an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan, transforming these traditional drinks into something extraordinary. A Midwinter Night's Dram Act 14 Scene 3 is not just a seasonal release but a carefully crafted experience, capturing the essence of winter in every sip. Perfect for collectors and connoisseurs alike, it's a whiskey that speaks to the soul of the season, offering warmth and richness that elevate the moment to something truly memorable.
