Empress 1908 Elderflower Rose

1908 Empress Elderflower Rose is a gin that captivates with its distinct floral character, drawing on the lush landscapes of British Columbia. This gin showcases prominent notes of elderflower, offering a graceful sweetness that intertwines seamlessly with the subtle perfume of rose. At 42.5% ABV, it strikes a balance between aromatic sophistication and exceptional clarity, providing a refreshing palate experience that is both complex and inviting. Designed with versatility in mind, 1908 Empress Elderflower Rose shines in a variety of classic cocktails. Its botanical profile adds an elegant twist to a traditional Gin & Tonic, where its floral notes are complemented when served in a balloon glass brimming with ice and finished with a lemon twist or a sprig of fresh mint. For those who appreciate the layered flavors of a Negroni, this gin's floral hints add a nuanced depth that pairs beautifully with the bitterness of Campari. In a Martini, its delicate rose essence unfolds, enhancing the drink’s smooth, crisp finish. When serving 1908 Empress Elderflower Rose, consider the glassware as much a part of the experience as the gin itself. A highball glass allows the floral aromas to flourish, especially when accompanied by a garnish of fresh rosemary or edible flowers, offering both a visual and olfactory delight. This gin's aromatic qualities also lend themselves beautifully to a Tom Collins, where its elderflower notes elevate the classic combination of lemon juice and soda water, making it a delightful refreshment on a warm day. Whether mixed into a cocktail or served simply over ice, this gin invites exploration and enjoyment with each sip.
