Absente 110 Proof Absinthe

Absente 110 Proof Absinthe is a distinctive spirit that hails from the picturesque region of Provence, France. This vibrant absinthe is a true testament to the art of traditional herbal distillation, elegantly combining the classic flavors of anise with a contemporary infusion of sweetness. Its striking green color hints at the bold and complex flavors awaiting within, making it a staple for those passionate about the world of absinthe. With an ABV of 55%, Absente 110 Proof Absinthe presents a robust and invigorating profile, ideal for both seasoned absinthe aficionados and adventurous newcomers. Typically enjoyed as a digestif, it is best sipped slowly, allowing the intricate herbal notes to unfurl with each taste. For a classic preparation, serve it traditionally by placing a slotted spoon with a sugar cube over a glass of absinthe, then slowly drip iced water over the cube, letting the liquid cascade through until the absinthe louche to a milky opalescence. This ritual not only mellows the spirit's intensity but also enhances its aromatic complexity. Beyond the traditional serve, Absente can be an exciting addition to a variety of cocktails. Try it in a Sazerac or Death in the Afternoon to add depth and a touch of herbal elegance. For a refreshing twist, mix it with soda over ice, offering a lighter, more accessible approach to this potent liqueur. Its bold anise undertones pair well with citrus and aromatic herbs, making it a versatile choice for creative cocktail enthusiasts looking to explore beyond the ordinary.
