Sour Beer Under $25 in Westford

About Sour Beer

Sour beer is tart, acidic beer, and CBC Liquors in Westford stocks it from brands including Burley Oak, Fonta Flora, Veil and Night Shift. The tartness comes from lactic acid bacteria or wild yeast during fermentation, and many brewers add fruit for a juicier, softer finish. Traditional styles such as gose, Berliner weisse, lambic and farmhouse sours are drier and sharper, so the style named on the label is the quickest guide to what you will taste. The shelf also carries 450 North, Hudson Valley, Medusa Brewing and Grimm, with beers such as Sorry Chicky, Fonta Paloma, Tango Sour and Strawberry Rhubarb. You can shop sour beer in store in Westford, or choose pickup or delivery.
