Beer Tree Velcrow Walls

Velcrow Walls by Beer Tree is a testament to the craft of New England IPAs, delivering a hazy, richly aromatic experience that pays homage to its New York roots. With an ABV of 7.1%, this brew balances strength and smoothness, offering a luscious, pillowy mouthfeel typical of the style. Although it measures at 0 IBU, don't be deceived—this IPA is brimming with juicy hop character, likely featuring notes of ripe tropical fruits and citrus, a hallmark of New England IPAs. The essence of Velcrow Walls lies in its ability to marry the vibrant hop aromatics with a subtle malt backbone, creating a symphony of flavors that captures the imagination. As you pour it into a tulip glass, expect a glorious, opaque golden hue with a frothy white head that invites you to take that first, rewarding sip. The serving temperature is best kept around 45-50°F, allowing the aromas to fully develop without losing the refreshing bite that accompanies each taste. Pair this delightful IPA with food that matches its bold, fruity profile. Velcrow Walls complements spicy dishes wonderfully, enhancing the flavors of Indian or Thai curries. It also pairs nicely with a sharp cheddar or creamy brie, where the beer's hop-forward nature can cut through the richness of the cheese. For those with a sweet tooth, try it alongside a slice of lemon tart to highlight the citrus undertones. Beer Tree's Velcrow Walls stands out not just for its flavor, but for the passion and community spirit it embodies. This brew is a celebration of the craft, an ideal companion for those who appreciate the art of brewing and the vibrant culture it fosters.
