Von Trapp Trosten Lager

Trosten Lager by von Trapp Brewing hails from the rolling hills of Vermont, but its essence is deeply rooted in the crisp tradition of Austrian lagers. Crafted with precision, this lager offers a harmonious blend of subtle malt sweetness and a delicate hop bitterness, making it an ideal choice for those who appreciate a balanced beer without overwhelming intensity. With an ABV of 6% and a gentle IBU of 19, it promises a refreshing experience marked by a clean finish and a smooth mouthfeel. The nuanced flavors of Trosten Lager shine best when served chilled at a temperature of around 45°F (7°C), which allows its crisp notes to emerge fully while maintaining a pleasing balance. Pour this lager into a classic pint glass to appreciate its golden hue and clarity, along with the gentle effervescence that dances with each sip. Its approachable profile makes it a versatile companion for a variety of meals, particularly those with mild yet savory flavors. Try pairing it with a classic Wiener Schnitzel or a platter of soft pretzels and tangy mustard to complement its subtle sweetness and light bitterness. Trosten Lager reflects the von Trapp family's commitment to quality and tradition, echoing the sounds of alpine meadows in each bottle. It's a celebration of the lager's rich history, brought to life by the family's journey from the foothills of Austria to the slopes of Vermont. Whether you're a lager aficionado or a casual beer enthusiast, this beer invites you to enjoy a taste that is as timeless as it is refreshing.
