Description
Tree Fruit Cowboys by Mission Trail offers a refreshing take on traditional cider, straight from the orchards of California. This cider harmoniously combines the crispness of fresh apple with the sweet undertones of ripe pear, resulting in a beverage that perfectly encapsulates the bounty of its regional origins. Subtle hints of oak add a layer of complexity, lending a gentle earthiness to its bright fruit profile. With an ABV of 6.0%, this cider maintains a perfect balance between flavor intensity and drinkability, making it a versatile choice for both new cider enthusiasts and seasoned aficionados. For those eager to enhance their culinary experiences, Tree Fruit Cowboys pairs wonderfully with a range of dishes. The cider’s fruit-forward character complements a variety of savory foods, such as roasted pork or grilled chicken, while its crisp finish provides a refreshing contrast to creamy cheeses like Brie or Camembert. This balance of flavors makes it an ideal companion for charcuterie boards or autumn-inspired meals, allowing the cider's natural sweetness to shine through with each bite. To fully appreciate Tree Fruit Cowboys, serve it chilled at around 45°F. This temperature accentuates its refreshing qualities and allows the nuanced flavors of apple, pear, and oak to emerge distinctly. A tulip glass is recommended, as its shape helps concentrate the cider’s aromas, enhancing the overall sensory experience. Whether enjoyed at a casual picnic or a sophisticated dinner, Tree Fruit Cowboys offers a delightful taste of California's vibrant orchard scene, inviting you to explore the rich flavors crafted by Mission Trail.

Was honestly ready for just another sweet cider, but the mix of apple and pear is more crisp than I thought. The oak thing is subtle, but adds something. Would like a little less sweetness, but it worked fine with roast chicken.
Response from CBC Liquors, Westford
Glad you noticed the pear in Tree Fruit Cowboys. If you want something less sweet, the Shacksbury Dry might be worth a shot next time.
